Services
Courtney offers an array of services across a number of disciplines depending on clients individual needs. Each client receives their own unique service depending on horse and rider. Courtney is available for lessons, training rides, sales, pony club lessons, exercise riding and off-site coaching
Lessons
Courtney offers both dressage and show jumping lessons year round at her family's boarding facility in Sandy Spring. Trailer lessons are available here at no extra cost. Courtney is also available to travel for lessons off site and often arranges monthly cross country schoolings at nearby facilities. Lessons are available in private, semi-private and group sessions.
Training Rides
Courtney is available both onsite and offsite for training rides and has experience with a number of different mounts and ages. Throughout the years, Courtney has backed a number of babies and has worked with retraining many off the track thoroughbreds. Specialized training packages are available depending on the clients needs.
Sales
Courtney alongside Vanessa Swartz, have an extensive equine network with the ability to rehome horses along with helping new clients find their new mount. Courtney and Vanessa have also had much success with repurposing horses' careers and finding them their forever home.
Pony Club
Courtney has been an active member of the United States Pony Club since the age of six. She earned her traditional C-3 and represented Redland Hunt Pony Club on a regional, national and international level. Courtney now spends her time working with local clubs in the Maryland and Capital Region. Courtney is available for weekly lessons, clinics, camps and ratings and rally judging.
Exercise Rides
Courtney has extensive experience working first hand at an active and competitive steeplechase stable. Courtney previously worked part time at W-D Racing where she exercised and schooled steeplechase horses. She also has worked at a number of sanctioned and point to point races.
Coaching
Courtney offers coaching at a number of local and regional competitions. While at a competition, she prioritizes her time to ensure each of her students are well organized, and prepared. Courtney offers course walks, and warm ups across all three disciplines. After competing, she finds the importance of having a briefing to recap the performance.
